Our 2020 project activities focus on iRODS related data management practices.  The below work packages are all related to that focus.

Build repository of knowledge and best practices

• Establish a reference architecture based on best practices (and link to HORA architecture where applicable)
• Publish U2CONNECT results

Develop data infrastructure products and services

• Resolve federated authentication for non-web tools e.g. iRODS icommands and SSH
• Ensure preconditions are met to allow researchers to use EUDAT services (terms of use, service levels, etc)

Explore and innovate

• Continue development best practices via current iRODS pilots
• Explore Science DMZ via pilots
• Explore cloud computing concepts such as science gateways via pilots
